One of my favorite and I’m sure a lot of you would like too, is the smiles or as called (Emoji), Microsoft brought Skype’s emoji to Skype4B client, so now you can express yourself even more 🙂įor making calls the familiar Skype call icon is there and gives you the options to make PSTN or “Skype Call” which is the replacement of “Lync Call” wow I’m stating the obvious here 😛
Going inside a session you see the familiar Skype user interface. Sign-In page of Skype4B is more or less same like the one with Lync except for the round shaped status iconsĪctually it did not just stop at the status icon, but extended to the contact picture, the contact action menu…well now most of the squared shaped icons became round, let’s leave it to that 🙂 So here is what i noticed so far and liked:

"We know that you adore our emoticons and are always asking for more. Since the characters in the movie are based on emotions, it is actually a brilliant partnership. Today, Microsoft announces that it is delivering new emoticons to Skype that are based on Disney and Pixar's animated film "Inside Out". While some people decry millennials' use of these enhancements, they are seemingly here to stay. Luckily, emoticons and emojis have enabled us to enhance our text-based communications. This can be dangerous when sending an email or text message, as the recipient can easily misinterpret the senders intentions. Our tone and body language can speak volumes - sometimes more than the literal meaning of our words. Text on its own is not enough to properly convey a message.
